We're so happy you're here! This is our 6th summer running the beach party and it gets better every year. To ensure you have a wonderful experience, we have some info to share.

Flourish Beach Party is a casual and social roleplay event. If you're new to the scene or hesitant to jump in, feel free to relax and hang out. We do ask that you keep OOC chatter to /tell or party/linkshell chats.

  • Since the event takes place outdoors, all minions are welcome.

  • We don't have a syncshell; please be mindful and respectful of others if sharing.

  • Activities and performances will utilize both /shout & /yell chat.

  • We'd love to see screenshots! We'll be using #flourishbeachparty on bsky.

SURFING CRASH COURSE

Ever wanted to learn how to ride the waves in style? Get stoked and join your instructor Cael in a three-round crash course on how to get pitted with the best of them!Rules — Best of 3 rolls!
Cael will do an action, you try and copy it, both will /random. If you beat Cael's roll, you copy him perfectly! If you lose two rolls w-w-wipe out for good!Ace all three, and you're a star baby!

WATERMELON SMASHING

At our very first beach party, this game began with a straightforward set of rules: Try and smash a watermelon with a club. Though effective with the right amount of strength, eventgoers quickly became bored of this requirement and resorted to… punching and thigh-crushing. Whatever you choose, we're not liable for any injury or embarrassment that ensues.Rules — Players have one chance to destroy the watermelon by rolling /random higher than a certain number. If they're feeling determined, they may roll again.

LIMBO

How low can you go? Depending on your height, not very. However, even the shortest of folks have trouble with flexibility these days. Limbo exists as a test of flexibility, but mostly luck. Few have triumphed, many have failed.Rules — Each game consists of four rounds where each player must overcome one of the greatest enemies known to man: RNG. /random to roll below each number, and you may emerge victorious with your spine in one piece!

KING OF THE ROCK

One lone boulder rises above the surface during high tide. Large enough to fit two comfortably, but we know the nature of man. Two challengers face off holding giant, inflatable... jousting lances? Well, we're trying to make this entertaining for both parties.Rules — Both opponents begin the match with 2,000 health points to be depleted via /random rolls. The first to reach zero will meet their fate: being knocked into shallow water. The fall won't hurt, but you may take a hit to the ol' ego.

APPLE BOBBING

What's better than a game of chance with a bucket of refreshing produce on a hot afternoon? That's right! Nothing! It's a simple game — before you, a barrel of cool water and delicious red apples...don't mind that there seems to be things stuffed into their cores...Rules — Players will /random once. Depending on their roll, a certain prize will be waiting!
